THE WINERY
According to Aldino, wine is an expression of the territory - a deep connection between passion, experience, and respect for nature.
His commitment goes beyond the winery: he has actively contributed to the development of the Associazione Produttori Nizza, founded to enhance and protect the winemaking excellence of the area. Thanks to the joint efforts of these producers, the Nizza DOCG designation was established, now a symbol of the wine quality of Nizza Monferrato.
Every production choice is guided by respect for the environment. Sustainability is the foundation of vineyard management because healthy soil produces authentic and high-quality wines. Every bottle holds the essence of this land, elevated by the passion of those who cultivate it with care and dedication.
THE VINEYARD
The five hectares of vineyards at Cascina Christiana are mainly dedicated to Barbera D'Asti DOCG, a variety that best expresses its intensity and finesse in this region. Alongside these vines, four small plantations of: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah e Sauvignon Blanc enrich the production, adding complexity and character to the winery’s wines. Vinification takes place in a recently built, modern and high-tech winery, designed to ensure the highest quality standards. In rooms with controlled temperature and humidity, part of the production is aged in small wooden barrels, where time and care enhance the quality and authenticity of the wine.
MONFERRATO IN EVERY GLASS
Our wines are wines of the territory, an authentic expression of Nizza DOCG and Barbera d’Asti DOCG. Cultivating these vineyards means preserving a unique territorial richness, protecting the historical roots of a landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Every label from Cascina Christiana is a dedication to the Bellazzini family: after careful research and selection, Aldino chose names for his wines that are linked to memories and special moments shared with the people he loves most.
Like family, wine is a heritage built on gestures passed down through generations. Aldino’s farming knowledge, developed in the Tuscan vineyards since childhood, has been handed down to his children, who cherish it with passion. While time has brought innovations in the vineyard and winery, the identity of Cascina Christiana’s wines remains the same: an authentic story of Monferrato.
